SITE ENGINEER
Main tasks:
- Coordinating the assigned scope of construction works
- Analysis of technical documentation, preparing requests for quotation directed to subcontractors, preparation of quotations and budgets in the scope of supervised works
- Cooperation with subcontractors, verifying compliance of the content of documentation with the contractual scope as well as monitoring the progress of works and their financial settlement
- Monitoring the quality and timeliness of the works (in reference to the building permit design, technical specification and construction craft)
- Coordination and evaluation of the subcontractor’s work
- Preparation of bills of quantities for works
- Carrying out the design approval procedures
- Communicating subcontractors of technical decisions and distribution of technical documentation
- Supervising the preparation of as-built and takeover documentation
Key competences:
- Higher technical education
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in construction project management
- Knowledge of construction law, procedures and documentation concerning construction process
- Command of English and/or French allowing effective communication
- Very good knowledge of Ms Word, Ms Excel and Ms Project
- Communication skills, independence and work discipline
- Good analytical and logical skills
- Mobility within the country
