Copernicus

Atrium Copernicus in Toruń is a shopping center located in the heart of the city. Atrium Copernicus was built in 2005 and its extension aimed to increase and re-brand the shopping center. Its extension has made Copernicus the largest shopping center in Kujawsko-Pomorskie district. The existing part of the building has been combined with a new one via a rotunda based on a steel structure with a diameter of 27.8 m., which is also the new central entrance to the entire facility.Thanks to the expansion of additional 17 thousand. sqm., GLA of the facility increased to approx. 48 thousand. sqm., gaining more than 60 new boutiques, shops, services, restaurants and cafes.
