About the project
The expansion of the MGL Sp. z o.o. plant in Rawa Mazowiecka (Phase III) involves the construction of a new 5 450 m² production and storage hall and 3 500 m² of covered manoeuvring yards, integrated with the existing factory. The project was carried out without interrupting production, using steel construction, with a high-load-bearing floor and two 10-tonne overhead cranes. The roofing of the yards was structurally designed to accommodate a photovoltaic installation, and the design incorporates enhanced resistance to extreme rainfall thanks to the expansion of the drainage and retention system. The work was carried out using BIM/3D, which streamlined coordination and implementation.
