The Opel production plant in Gliwice was the first construction project undertaken by CFE Polska, completed in 1997. As the main production center for General Motors, the plant was one of the most modern facilities of the group in the world. The highly complex foundation structure of the bodywork press shop and the high level of workmanship of the reinforced concrete structure were the hallmarks of the project. The investment was completed in an exceptionally short time – foundation work was completed in less than ten months. The project received an award for compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and the accident-free completion of the project.​
