SZCZECIN BRIDGE

About the project
The crossing over the Regalica River in Szczecin consists of WD1 and WD3 overpasses built as part of the bridge crossing development. The three-span WD-1 overpass is 96.60 m long and 14.67 m wide. The superstructure: a steel structure with a reinforced concrete slab, reinforced concrete pillars and openwork abutments, founded on piles. The WD-3 overpass is composed of three parts. A total of 280 tons of steel structure, 1,300 tons of reinforcement, and over 4,000 cu m of concrete were embedded. The reinforced concrete works were completed using in-house scaffolding. The works began in winter under difficult weather conditions.
