About the project
In the first phase of the extension, the front section of the existing building was refurbished, along with internal adaptation works. The scope of works included the construction of the building, its connection to the existing building, site development, utility connections, and the installation of transit systems for subsequent phases of the extension in accordance with the installation designs. The building’s façade facing Ostrobramska Street (the northern façade) was designed primarily as a so-called ‘double-skin’ façade, featuring point-fixed glazing elements and a solid parapet. The operation of the facility, the shops and service premises located within the Atrium Promenada shopping centre was given absolute priority during the project’s implementation.
