The project involved buildings p4E, IN1 and SC2 at the Umicore factory, which produces NCM cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. This is the first facility of its kind in Europe. One of the sustainable solutions implemented at the site is a water recovery system, which reuses water from washbasins for use in toilets.
