The project involved the construction of the entire building of the Valeo wiper blade factory in Skawina. The development included the construction of roads, car parks with site development, and installation of networks and providing connections to them. The innovative solution “Portiko” was used here as regards lighting and cable distribution for the open space desks arrangement. The facility is considered to be a BMS-controlled intelligent building. The factory was established next to the Valeo Radiator Plant. The completed project was awarded the third degree prize in PZITB’s 2003 Building of the Year competition in the category: Industrial Buildings, for the short lead time and use of environmentally friendly materials in its production.
